Don't let pelvic floor symptoms keep you from doing what you love.
We get it. We've been there, too. Being unable to fully participate in life due to symptoms is so frustrating! Whether it's running after your kids without leaking, improving your intimate life, recovering from a traumatic birth, returning to your sport or simply just bettering your pelvic health, empowerHer can help you get through it!
We take pride in being present for your entire visit.
When Dr. Kadish built empowerHer, it was important to her to create a practice that was centered around the patient. Our patients always notice one thing in particular, they finally feel heard because we have the time to spend with them.

In a standard physical therapy clinic, patients often only get 30 minutes (sometimes even less) with the doctorate level trained physical therapist before they are passed off to another provider or left to themselves to "do their exercises." At empowerHer, we get a full hour to trouble shoot, treat, adjust, and make sure our treatment is exactly what you need that day, with Dr. Kadish only. This ultimately allows for less time in the clinic and the ability to heal faster.
Dr. Emily Kadish, PT, DPT

Emily's passion for women's pelvic health stems from her own difficult journey through pregnancy and postpartum. She knows first hand what it's like to feel like the only one going through what you're going through because she's been there, too. Not only does she understand the physical, mental, and emotional challenges women face during this challenging time in life because of her own experiences, she understands how to help women heal through her extensive education. She's spent many years diving deep into courses related to women's health and the pelvic floor. But, most importantly, she understands how the body works together and how we must address all aspects to truly heal. It is her mission to bring awareness to the issues women face and encourage women to become comfortable with the uncomfortable with all things pertaining to women's health.

Emily is originally from Ohio but with childhood dreams of living by a beach and being surrounded by palm trees, she made her way to Florida where she resides with her husband and two young kiddos, Knox and Remi. Outside of caring for patients, you'll find her carting kids to various sporting events or in her home gym focusing on her health through strength training.

She looks forward to meeting you soon!
